I know I’ve been very quiet. Lots of things going on around here in the past month – so much so that I can’t get into my “zone”, that mental state where all my inspiration and drive come from. Nevertheless, I couldn’t let the year end without at least sharing some of our precious Christmas moments.

Mica and Rinoa opened their gifts a day early. Troy and I bought them an Xbox 360 with Kinect, and I thought a game will keep them occupied while I prepare our “Noche Buena” (Christmas Eve dinner) since they were getting restless.

Mica opens one of our gifts to her. It’s a mini trash can. “Seriously?” she reacts, and thinking it may just be the box, she opens the box. It is a trash can! “Seriously??” she goes again. “Well,” I said, “this will teach you to be tidy.” She opens the trash can, and there inside is the camera she wanted. It’s a classic. (Just like the time we gave her dishwasher soap.)

A pose just before Christmas Eve dinner. That’s my sister on the left and my mom in the middle. They were with us this year for Christmas.

I hope you’re all having a wonderful holiday season. Merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year!

Con mucho amor,
