Series 4

I am very much drawn to the stories of the past. I look at old photos and I’m mesmerized with thoughts of what stories they may be telling. In awe of the thought that there are others just like me – with the same hopes, dreams, and struggles – who lived a hundred years ago. I’m here now but I too will pass away. What legacy do I live behind? What stories will people in the future wonder about me?

These small encaustic paintings are done on 4×4 in. heavyweight illustration boards and each are mounted on a signed 6×6 acid-free matboard. The illustration boards are made of 100% cotton fiber, acid-free paper.
