How adorable – a collection of miniature shoes! Do you have them posted somewhere? I’d love to see them. And I’m sure you’ll enjoy filling up your journal. What’s nice about it is you can’t mess it up – seriously. I’ve had several requests for a tutorial on that bookbinding – and I have that in my things to do. Will definitely post about that one!

Hi Johwey, just wanted you to know that I really like your ROD Journal making style. The end with the diamond stitching is just fabulous. Would you tell me how to sew the signatures in that way? I’d really like to try it! (smile) I’ve made one journal so far, but still haven’t “loaded it up”. I don’t travel a lot, so I’ve been thinking of displaying one or more of my collections in it. I collect miniature shoe (replicas) and have a collection of little turtles from various places visited in the past, and also contributed by friends and family from their travels. Anyway, I think your journal is really great, magnetic closure and the embroidery also. Thanks for sharing it with us. CAn’t wait to see more of your work.

Thanks for the wonderful comment Rita. It does require a bit of patience especially when you’re struggling with sewing multiple signatures at a time – lol! Hopefully I’ll find the most efficient way to sew it this way.
