High Contrast Rendering

Posted on | February 25, 2009 | No Comments

I just finished a class by Scott Kelby called “Professional Photo Retouching Techniques” at Kelbytraining.com and one of the tricks I have learned is how to do a high contrast rendering.

Here are some examples of my take on high contrast rendering. These are pictures of Mica taken in our backyard in 2004 when she fell into the “poncho craze” – a fad that died out really fast. If you mouseover the images, you will see what the originals looked like.

In the first picture, I used the same texture that I talked about in my previous blog entry.
